Banorte Grupo Financiaro (Mexico) have launched their new retail segment brands through their website and mobile applications and new branch designs for retail banking.

allen international have been working with Banorte since June 2013 to develop the group brand architecture – brand marks, online and mobile experience, marketing communications and the physical branch customer experiences – for three newly formed retail banking segments: Banorte Banca Personal (mass), Ixe Banca Preferente (affluent), and IxeXima Banca Privada (privada / patrimonial).

Each segment had a brand and retail strategy created inline with the group’s business strategies and aspirations which drove all creative and technical work.

The first new branch in Monterrey, northern Mexico (the bank’s founding location) is a dual branch for both mass-market personal banking and affluent banking. It features new technologies such as interactive teller machines and in-branch digital communication screens alongside a full complement of automated banking machines and traditional teller and advisory positions.

All touch points, both physical and digital, have been designed to provide a seamless customer experience utilizing Banorte’s state-of-the-art data repository and customer behaviour analysis tools. ATM and intelligent teller machine interfaces align with the mobile and web experience and branch staff have desktop and tablet applications to assist in the sales process, all connected through the bank’s powerful CRM system.

Due for launch in the very near future will be the Private banking experience, which will manifest itself as a physical lounge experience and supported by powerful mobile and web applications providing investment and trading tools.
