Banco de Bogotá, the second largest bank in Colombia and, having been in business 138 years, one of the oldest, has over 700 service points for its customers. allen international were asked to optimise their branch network in order to enhance the customer experience in a cost-effective way.
A philosophy that Banco de Bogotá’s brand department had been incubating for a couple of years – ‘Banquear’: communicating with customers to help them with what they need in life – was a powerful concept that was not being clearly expressed.
We brought this philosophy to life in their branches and product display and promotions using our unique modular system, ‘Kit of Parts’, that would roll-out easily and economically across their network of over 600 existing branches and keep pace with their aggressive expansion plans.
The first branch was opened at the Calima Shopping Centre in Bogotá, the first of 120 branches which will be upgraded to the new format over the next year.
